ok, Flinty, I'll bite. He's thinking, as all adorable creatures do, "I can get away with murder!!!!, and then he laughs to himself and plots your demise. Probably through poison.

Well he may taste really nice, but Id prefer a Fennec Fox jacket, or perhaps a pimp hat with ears

Spud, beat me to it on the Yoda front. But, Gremlins anyone? Lovely, cute picture, but a little poorly timed for me. One of my (big eared) cats has been missing for 48 hours. Broken-hearted. I'll be avoiding Friday IoTDs for a while.

Anybody read the 1943 book "Mischief in Fez"? A good djinn comes to a little boy in the shape of a fennec (you can tell by the slit in one of the fennec's ears) to save him and his widower father from an unfortunate marriage to an evil djinn. It was still a fairly new book (sigh) when I read it, but made an impression that has lasted more than half a century, and I love that picture! Brings that wonderful book vividly back. (Only copy I can find on the internet is at Amazon for about $95.00!)
