I just made my %10 goal at Weight Watchers in our 'at work' program. Unfortunately, it might shut down due to low turnout.

I have bought a new scale and I'm ready to go it alone if necessary.

YAY!!!!!!!!!
10% is a huge amount - and the bigger you are, the more you have lost.
That's a great achievement Rich. Sorry to hear you've lost your real life support.

I know it's not quite the same as WW, but you're not alone with us here.
If you want to start another weight loss thread with a weekly weigh in, I'll be there. Seriously - I'll do anything I can to help - I lost my way over the last 3 weeks but I am committed to losing at least another 4 stone = 56lbs
I'm willing to take (clothed) pictures every week if it helps!

You go guy - I know how hard it is, I'm going through it.
You have my full respect.

One of the news programs just did a special about a lady who hated going to the group thing and went to the On-line WW exclusively. She lost over 100 pounds that way. So there is still hope for group support and in fact you may find a message board that is a significantly larger group.

I did a search and this is the news story. It was on CNN.

That's what I am doing. As of my weigh in least week, I have lost a total of 39 pounds since September. Personally, I couldn't even think about the idea of someone else weighing me and seeing it if I go up a little or maintain. Plus, it is a lot easier to be honest with myself if no one else is seeing it. good luck!

Out-fuckin-standing! Well done bbro. Oh and well done Rich as well. I think successfully losing weight is one of the most impressive things a person can achieve. Anyone who thinks it's easy is sorely mistaken. The self-discipline needed for weight loss, regardless of what method you use, is a serious commitment.

Thanks Dana! I probably would have lost more if I had been completely on plan the whole time, but meh, I am human. As long as I can keep it off, I will be happy. Now I just have to include exercise. Waiting for approval from insurance for inserts for my flat feet.
