I want you to imagine today's traffic, with all the idiots and morons all doing their idiot things behind the wheel of a car. Speeding, running red lights, cutting off other drivers where the lane merges, driving while intoxicated, causing accidents, that sort of thing.

Now imagine these idiots in a flying car, while remembering that plane crashes are often fatal.

I find it bad enough just sharing the road with these idiots. Somehow the idea of all those idiots given the ability to fly doesn't inspire me with a great deal of confidence.

Don't worry, by that time all traffic will be completely computer-controlled. The computers will decide everything. The computers will keep us safe. The computers will decide when we merge, how fast we go, and how much space we need between vehicles.
