I don't know much on Ron Paul, but he always appears near the top of my list on candidate matches. Why do you like him?

My dislike is purely superficial - the name. Thought at first the transvestite Ru Paul was running as a joke. Then I thought it was the owner of the hair salon chain and I wasn't sure why he would run for office either. Its hard to support someone that I know absolutely nothing about and the first thing I think of every time I hear the name is the place where I used to get my hair cut (at least it was good haircuts, although pricey). Then I think of his photo, which isn't flattering either. Anyway, I digress. I see tons of signs for him (more than any other candidate). What do you see in him and not the others?

I can't speak for anyone that supports him here because they would be actual libertarians, which is what Ron Paul is, but most of the Ron Paul supporters I've seen don't know much about Ron Paul and are just caught up in the hype about him "saving America". They will be fed two or three things that they agree with and they think Ron Paul is divine. A lot of RP supporters are conspiracy theorists as well, which Ron Paul represents because he is small government.
