Damn, y'all! I was so sure I was going to be the first to have mine bought. But the auction's not even over for another 6 hours! I'm super pumped about stumbling upon it too, I know for sure that ******* is going to think it's awesome.

Maybe those of us who are participating could go ahead and give a few clues as to what they like? or would that give it away totally? obviously, not gotten the gift yet, just found out this morning.

My sons class is doing secret santa this year and they've all filled in a little card which says what they like and don't like. I thought it was a good idea. I've come to the conclusion that there might be a lot of chocolate and not too many veges being given out as presents.

Ali it might sounds mean but... it would crack me up big time if your son came home with a giant cabbage for his Secret Santa!

oh I'd piss myself laughing if that happened. It's not mean at all, and I think the quality of the gift will depend on who pulled his name out of the hat. Aden got a girl who he doesn't like too much because she gets him in trouble all the time (hope she doesn't end up at the same high school), so I have to get the gift for her. I'm sure most other mothers will have to suffer the same fate though.

Anyway, sorry for stealing this thread. I'll get the truck outta here now.

I didn't give out any user names. I passed on names and addresses as given to me.

So, yes, you did, seeing as you didn't include any name in your postal address, i didn't pass it on . it will have gone at Mr. Dwellar or some such. I can correct that if you like. PM me the name you wish me to pass on, although they can probably guess anyway. Can't remember who got you.

In fact, if anyone would like to post good gift ideas it's alright.......then I can blame it on you.

Don't feel too pressured, the price limit obviously precludes anything "nice." This site is good for humorous little items, or if you know anything at all about the interests of your person, just start doing random ebay searches--you'd be surprised what kind of neat stuff pops up.

I'm not feeling pressured, so much as everything I've thought of so far would immediately scream "I was selected by SteveDallas" to the recipient. And I'd like to protect a little bit of mystery!

What in the world are you thinking of--beard trimmings? Used clarinet reeds? I honestly can't imagine anything that would scream "SteveDallas sent me this."
