I'm too lazy to check ... did you get a 'flu shot this year?

Go home, dammit. Unless you are on an executive level of package you aren't being paid for that kind of responsibility. And you will recover faster and not spread the 'flu to everyone else. But be sure to sneeze on your boss's phone mouthpiece before you go. If you suffer, so should they. And just you watch them take sick leave.

OK, I have an appt coming at 4, then I'm outta here. I may go home, run a bath, and just stick my head in it.

Spexx: sex, even with you, doesn't sound like the cure for what ails me!

You won't get better until you've passed it on to at least three others.

At least, that's my theory.

Excuse me. I must disinfect my keyboard and monitor now.

I concur with this theory.

Heehee...boss was on vacay, but the bosses boss could use a good hacking on!

I feel infinitely better today. Didn't even need the 30$ copay. I have a new song, with my different doctors I've had to see lately:

Here a pay
There a pay
Everywhere a co-pay
Oh yes Anthem stole my arm
Ee I ee I oh

Shawnee - I read your song. I think you need another day of rest.

I think for someone with pleuresy, flu and TB combined you wrote a pretty good song actually.

Glad to hear you're feeling better - HM lay around doing practically nothing for his three week "cold" before going to the doctors and finding out it's asthma. Women just get on with things.

You forgot syphilis (crap, did I say that out loud?)

If I could have gotten away with it I would have taken another day off. Now the phlegm is breaking up and sometimes I get the prettiest little tune when I inhale. Not that I inhale, mind you.

What's green and skates?

Can I just rub it in by saying my GP gave me vitamins (as well as my anti-depressants, both FREE) at my last appointment as a preventative measure for the winter. I'll miss his freebie lark when I'm working again.

Cool deal. Hopefully, this will be it for the season for me. It has been fairly nice out, and dealing with a cold isn't so bad when sleet and snow isn't beating you in the face when you go out. Then again, working in a public college... I'm a big fan of the hand sanitizer, and I may be on the road to compulsive hand washing.
