Please send the beer wagon in my direction.

That car/bike thingy is sorta cool. Keeps the rain off you in the weather but it's still a bike (kinda).

Bruce,
I think you're pulling my leg.

In your post, did you take that picture? What is it?

The other sons (younger one) bought this from a guy at work. His son had wrecked the front end and blew the engine. Bought it for $200.00. Bought a motor for 500.00, replaced hood, bumper & grille, headlights and new stereo system 1000.00. Merry Christmas! -last year.

No I didn't. It's a radically customized one of a kind. If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say a late '30s GM product, probably Chevy or Buick.

That Bierwagon looks familiar. I used to see one in Staufen, West Germany back in the 80's. It was used in the vineyards though, not the hops fields.

Here are a couple more.

This first shot isn't terribly artistic, but it was cool at the time. This was spring of 1988, and in my humble opinion, the best car in the world at that time was the Porsche 959. It was a true supercar. Only 200 of them were built. That's a magic number, because it was the number they had to make in order to qualify for some stock car status for a wide range of rally races run in Europe at that time. I took a trip to the Porsche factory with some friends, and we happened to notice this lot, where around 40 or so of the brand spanking new cars were being stored. That's 40 out of 200.

Later, just outside the Porsche Museum at the factory, we ran into a guy who was taking delivery of his brand new 959. He's the guy in the yellow sweater. He let us drool over the car for a while, but finally drove off as the crowd got a bit larger.

I just assumed that those were beer barrels. I suppose you're right.
