9/25: Tornado damage

The building in the background of the first image was my dorm (Easton) when I was a freshman at UMCP.

The Washington Post online edition has a LOT of stuff about the tornados today. Including a description of what happened to the two students who were killed. Seems they were in a car which got picked up and thrown OVER Denton hall, which is another building built on the same plan (8 stories) as the one you see.

BTW, if the University of Maryland parking authority is as efficient as usual, most of those cars already have tickets for parking in the driving lane, improper display of permits, and the like.
