While loading IE7, the install screen (with its mysterious, ever-cycling progress bar that doesn't mean anything) says "checking for updates from Microsoft".
After the install completes, running Windows Update shows that more updates are needed for IE7 that the IE7 install missed, ignored, or never knew to pick up. Does no one catch these things during design? |
