I had a chicken with once. Foghorn Leghorn (yea, yea - I know - he was a rooster). She was an ornery little thing. She used to meet me at the porch every evening/afternoon when I'd come home. She be out at the barn with the horses all day, and come running when she saw me pull up to the house. I found her dead on the porch one day. I think some asshole that kept horses out there decided he was tired of having her around. Damn, I loved that chicken!
I made some delicious chicken parmegiana the other night.
