I dunno... I could be wrong, but I don't think DVD-Audio is going to become a big deal. Oh, it sounds nice and all, but it's hard to play it anywhere except at home in your DVD player. If the whole MP3 thing has taught anything, it's that people want to carry their music with them, and that they don't mind at least some degradation in sound quality to achieve that portability. A lot of the "wow" features of DVD-Audio are going to be hard to reproduce in a car or in a portable player, so I see it sticking around as a niche format.
