Your results may vary.

What do they say at the Oscars? It was enough to just be nominated. Right.

I meant no hyperbole in the title thread. This wasn't a popularity contest...I mean who DOESN'T like Griff, or Glatt, or Ali (etc and so on) but who would you completely literally erect a shrine to? You'd have to be completely enamoured of a Cellarite to erect a shrine; you'd also have to be stalkish.

For the second part of the assignment, I would like you to post photos of the actual shrines you have erected in your home.

Thanks for the responses. This was fun! :p

I didn't vote because I don't worship anyone here and I don't think we need popularity contests. I could have voted for myself if I felt the need to have more than a zero.

Having said that, I think there are some really cool people here. This topic comes up every once in a while. I think there are about 50-75 core Dwellars who make this place what it is. All of you are great. Some haven't been here much lately. People like Jaguar, lookout, Maggie, slang, mrnoodle. Just because they don't post every day doesn't mean they aren't part of the place. And where the hell is Nothing But Net?

It wasn't supposed to be a popularity contest. It was supposed to be funny.

Sigh...

I suck at thread starting.

Shawnee123 - I did think it was funny.

I was making a joke, too. I was just going to write:

This thread makes me feel a little bit sad - no, not for the people who didn't make the list, that's not so bad - but for those who did but still have a lonely little zero sitting by their name.
But then I had too much Coke from LabRat's magic cup and wrote a bunch of other junk because that was the only way to stop the voice in my head.

It reminds me of an old Elayne Boosler bit about single people buying Campbell's Soup for One, etc. She said it's the loneliest little can on the shelf. Boy can I relate! :p

The last poll I started was about how you felt towards people with opinions not like yours. I used chocolate and vanilla ice cream as the example of differing opinions. The thread turned into an ice cream flavor thread.
