Cellar Worship

To what Cellar Dwellar would you erect a shrine in your home? I'm talking candles, tapes of sound bytes, portraits done in black velvet...the whole works.

I only had 15 options, so write-ins are welcome. I would have liked to include more names, so if I've missed you I'm sorry. I was going for variety.

well Bruce and Sundae Girl were close seconds. I chose Ibram because his thinking is so close to my best friend who I love the most in the whole world.

....so I am all worshiped out but Ibram's a gooder that's for sure.

Ah, I see the stats are skewed towards griff!

anything you two would care to explain?

I'd have to have a trifecta (possibly four-fecta) shrine...any option for that?

lol...didn't mean to post Griff twice. Ooops. I bet I can't fix it either. I think I meant to put spexx or someone in there.

But, as Griff is going to be our next president of the USA I didn't think brownie points could hurt.

(There are tons others I would have included. Did I miss the Aussie faction? Didn't mean to!)

These polls are always targeted toward popularity which annoys me actually. There are only six of your original list I would have included. It would have been better to give people a 'write in'option button since worship is such a highly personal thing.

There are alot of people who didn't make the list who I like even better than alot of people on the list.

griff ( well except for griff ) I would have liked to have seen these names.
crimson ghost
duck nuts
beastie
WHIP
cyclefrance
lab rat
freshnesschronic
bluecuacao
jinx
hoofhearted
stevedallas
glatt
dana c
pie

Well, sky...it was kind of a tongue-in-cheek thread that I thought we could have some fun with, rather than the "popularity contest" you abhor. Do you really think I would erect a shrine to anyone here? Well, maybe Griff, but only because I want to be on his presidential cabinet.

No wonder my user title was "perpetual sigh" for a while.

Where has all the fun gone?

I see you missed yourself off, you modest lil madam you.

The Cellar is a whole pantheon of deities to me - I invoke them in different situations when I need their particular strengths. For example on a day I worry will be hard on my fragile ego I light a candle to the Jim and ask for his wooden overcoat of self confidence. And on days off when I feel I can't be bothered to make myself presentable before leaving the flat I chant, "Wolf has seen far worse, Wolf has seen far worse"

Sometimes I have to listen hard to work out who the still quiet voice I hear is. Is it Elspode or Bruce sharing wisdom, Brianna telling me another drink won't kill me or TW calling me a brownshirt...?

Hey, it gets me through.

BTW - good to see you back Sky

Coolness, sky...I just didn't want to offend anyone.

I like so many of you...I just got a chuckle out of the thought if building a shrine in my home that I started this thread! Any chance to get black velvet paintings in.

Even the people I don't always agree with I like, each of the dwellars for different reasons. We are all different humans roaming around this great big earth!

And Bri? You are the most refreshingly honest and don't care what anyone thinks Dwellar there is. That is a huge compliment!

But I am NOT going to break out into a round of Kumbaya! Don't worry, snarky Shawnee is never gone for good.

BTW, not directed at you, sky. In response to the 'where's the fun?" question only.

Thank you. Of course I missed you and Bruce and even Brianna. :p I love her too even though I annoy the crap out of her. Some people like you are just too loveable to leave for very long.

So if we were in the same town I would so love to hang out. The candle I light tonight will be for you SundaeGirl.
