We were driving home with our christmas tree this past holiday, on a rural road between 2 cornfields, and noticed a herd of deer running towards the road. Jim slowed down and flashed his lights a few times at the 2 cars coming towards us, who's view of the deer was obstructed by a house.
The deer crossed the road just in front of our car. Most passed behind the first car oncoming car and in front of the second, but one didn't make it. Landed on the front of the second car (going 50-60ish) and then smashed the winshield and exploded in a cloud of fur.
The driver was able to pull over and was not hurt.
