No practicing; my one uber-skill is cold reading. I very rarely flub a line. But on the other hand, I speak too quickly, my voice tone can vary pretty dramatically from day to day (not good if you're supposed to match previous recordings,) and I run out of steam a little sooner than I should--an hour and a half is about the most I can do at a time unless I go slowly and take frequent sips of water in between lines. I've seen some of the really top professionals go for 8 hours straight, three days in a row.
