Question: Was Shawnee under the influence after having a really crappy time personally and/or professionally? Does she regualarly go off like this or has this taken most people a bit by surprise?

As someone who occasionally posts while intoxicated, I have posted things I really and truly didn't mean. (as well as loads of complete and utter drivel and responses in the wrong topics and even on the wrong boards.... )

Let's not make it impossible for her to make amends and come back when her temporary ban is up, please? On a daily basis there are many, many posters who are more obnoxious than Shawnee and take it right up to the line of acceptability in an almost professional manner. Shawnee crossed well over the line in one (prolonged) incident, which suggests to me that there may be mitigating circumstances. Of course I'm not one who was called names, but I'm pretty sure I'd feel the same if I had been.
