It is in French and subtitled in English. So if you don't have the skills to read and watch you may not like it. A classic in teaching circles about insurgencies and terrorism.
I love that movie. It's also used in teaching circles to look at the cultural/social/political effects of colonialism.

I agree, it really is a great snapshot of so many angles associated with colonialism, terrorism, and the people who are outside those two groups who are affected the most, the population at large. It has some great trailers and bonus features that interview people the movie was based on.
