Well, at least that's a little better than "kur-Ah-ko," the way I've heard some people even in the bar industry pronounce it.

I'd love to see Pink, but I don't think that'll ever happen, unless I go by myself. |

My ex bought his kid sister and her mate tickets to see Pink and then ended up having to go along as chaperone because her mum couldn't make it :P

LOL You just reminded me of when I had to chaperone my kid sister for a Corey Hart concert in the '80s. She insisted that we go right up to the front, so when he came on stage, the whole crowd of pre-teen girls rushed up and crushed us against the edge of it. Ow, I still remember the bruises on my ribcage.

Last concert? Phish, Sugarbush 1994. Been to a few shows in bars, but I consider a "concert" to be 25,000 people outdoors (preferably on a ski slope)...

I might be seeing Taylor Daynes this weekend. She is performing at the Phoenix Gay Pride fest. I can't remember the last concert I saw. I used to go 5-6 times a year when I was younger. Some of my favorites were: Bette Midler Billy Joel Adam Ant John Denver Kenny Rogers Liberace Anne Murray PDQ Bach The Weavers Peter, Paul and Mary

I'm going to see the Reverend Horton Heat for the 12th time in August here in St. Louis. Prior to that, the last concert I went to was the DMB tour opener here last spring.

ditto that weiner kids comment. (Whatever a weiner kid is.) Last concert was The Samples, but that doesn't count so much since my brother in law is their drummer. That was last time they were in town. It was cold. Maybe November? Not counting them, it would have to be The Dead, which was two years ago, I think. Going to operas doesn't count, right? |
