As hypocritical as this sounds, "regime change" is one of those things where I wouldn't mind keeping things quiet...so long as our goverment are truly working for the betterment of the citizens of this country. Wishful thinking, I know...but I still have hope...

I say let the locals work on regime change and we sit back and reap the fruits of small open ineffectual government. Unfortunately, that will require a new political party and we know how well that'll work, since the game is rigged for the two pro-leviathan parties.

Oh, don't think they haven't/aren't trying it. But once you introduce "staffers" on The Hill to the information don't expect it to stay secret for to long. We need a version of the Secrets Act like they have in the UK. Until they truely start to punish people for leaks no one is going to really give a fuck. Take the Libby/Rove/Plame Affair, it wasn't till later that Richard Armitage came out and told everybody that he was the one that released the info. Well hell than your ass should go straight to frigging jail. But was he ever charged. Fuck no. Do not pass Go.
