One of the wonderful things about pagan festivals is that there is ALWAYS some pasty-pale white accountant or computer programmer who paints his face and body up with woad and goes crashing about the woodlands in various stages of undress for several days.

When it's time to return to the regular world a terrible realization dawns.

Woad is a very effective sunscreen.
