blarferple--an cross beam used in ancient religious constructions

(the fake word and definition I straight-facedly gave to a male friend who challenged me to come up with a word that rhymes with purple. I almost fooled him and got a free beer. It's a talent. I can't teach it)

If you haven't, you must immediately rush out and purchase the game "Balderdash", and play it with six intelligent, preferably intoxicated friends. Being able to read well, and lie with a straight face, is an essential skill in this rather terrific game.
