The python/gator was a previous IOtD I think.

I saw the same thing (fish and moccasin) while fishing locally a couple years ago. I killed the snake with a boat paddle, got the catfish and put him in with the rest of that days catch. We ate the fish. He tasted good and nobody died. If there weren't people who saw me do this, I would have never told anyone about it.I figured they wouldn't believe me anyway. Thanks.

COTTONMOUTH/WATER MOCCASIN

I saw this guy last year down in Bayou country. He was one of about 6 or 7 that were sunning themselves in the area. Good thing they are not poisonous.

I once caught a sea gull while wade fishing near Galveston.
My father always told me this story about how he was fly-fishing and ended up catching, of all things, a flycatcher. Poor little birdie fluttered around as my dad reeled him in. I think he would have rather caught a sea gull because he likes flycatchers.

Thanks Stormie. I know of "the posting of the pictures" by the great one. I was put in my place when I tried to post a pic there when I first came here, and got an error message: fuck off; you are not worthy!!!!

j/k Overlord Sir!
