bloody hell indeed...

I have a french keyboard here too. the u is above and slightly to the left of the j key which is directly under your the forefinger of your right hand. r is above and slightly to the left of the f key, also on the home row. l (that's "L" although the case of the letters doesn't matter at all in this example) is directly beneath your ring finger on the right hand. The punctuation is a little more complicated. You can find them though.

The open square bracket [ shares space with the 5 key.

The close square bracket ] shares space with the (looks like o, but raised) key, along with the close parenthesis ).

The colon : and the slash / share the same key, the latter is shifted and the former is not.

To eliminate the extraneous spaces, which is *required* and which I put in only for the purposes of illustration, you need only exercise a little restraint.
