Well, what is the value of having good service? Chances are you can get standalone DSL from AT&T, and your connection issues will be with the isp, find one that will deal with your line provider *for* you. that's what I've done, and I am happier for it. There is a small additional charge. The standalone DSL service for Qwest is an additional $5/month, for which I have the privelege of not having to deal with them as an ISP. That's the job of my isp, to deal with qwest, and, coincidentally, provide my connection to the internet. TOTALLY worth it.
