If you are going to see Stonehenge, then make sure you also see nearby Avebury, which is nowhere near as famous as Stonehenge but it ought to be. It is one of the largest standing-stone complexes in the world, big enough to encircle the entire village. If should provide you with more to explore than Stonehenge will.

I don't understand why they think Avebury is anything more than a fortification.
