Meet The Press was very interesting to me this morning. It made me especially interested in the book ,'The Left Hand of God: Taking Back Our Country from the Religious Right' by Michael Lerner

I've always thought and this show seems to make me think that most americans are feeling this way too? Except for the percentage of people that go to church every week of course because they did vote for an autocratic . theocratic administration spured on by the religious right who's lust for power
borders or perhaps even surpasses the Pharisee since they were under Roman rule and not a governing body that mirrored their own theologys.

I think people need to decide in their mind what kind of society we want first.
States first. Government second and ones own personal faith should be kept inside their own houses and churches.

Lerners perspective is complicated and he didn't get to speak much but I liked the thought of mutual respect and value for all human life.
