What is Mari going to win? She and a lot of other people are hair triggered because of the rough start the new members have had. OK, but I've seen effort on their part to adjust. Lets give them the benefit of the doubt and simmer down a little.

Mari thinks Flint read her banking thread and is mocking her. Flint says (I think), he just saw the title and thought up this thread.
Well, nobody can prove either, so again, what's she going to win?

Flint made a clone thread. It is a humorous attempt to take someone else's thread title, and change it a little bit, but turn it into something funny. Even if it just makes you look twice. Maybe you laugh maybe you don't.

Clone threads are NEVER meant as a way to make fun of the original thread, or it's content.

So, you may not think it's funny, but you should not be offended if it happens to be a clone of your thread title.

Ah...like Word Association/Dissociation/Picture Association, only using entire threads.

Nope...still doesn't make much sense, although I'm all about funny.

I have nothing but respect for your evenhandedness, Bruce. I try to be the same, but something nags at me in this case. It all feels a bit Jekyll and Hyde. If there weren't always an underlying sense of aggression, I think I could follow the line you are taking. Had a 'sorry, geuinely didn't mean any offence' line followed earlier on... well, that would have been a start, but cannot see that kind of reply happening - maybe I'll be proved wrong, which would be nice...

I was going to say the same thing about Bruce. Probably the most sensible post in this thread.

Bruce is good people. He's always been our peace maker. I've said all I have to say on this subject, and I'm not going to keep repeating myself.

Well, thank you, Steve, nice of you to say that about my post.
