@Flint: Ah, got you now.

I've just been reading a couple of the threads, but it's too soon for me to say what this place is like yet. I like long and thoughtful posts, as well, so if that's true, I may stick around here.

I'll never use those bloody smileys though :-/

Dev - This is nothing. Just wait until I'm depressed and in whinge mode! : p

You know what i don't like here as compared to AG? When I hit the "end" button, it takes me to the bottom of the page, but I still have to scroll up to read the last post.

On AG you could still read the last post without a minor up-scroll.

You know what I really like about this place?

I can use bold print and italics to nuance my text.

I think you meant homonyms... but that's OK, we're not narrow-minded here.

Oh, nice one! You got me. How did I screw that up? Lame english major I am.

Ever hear of heteronyms? If not, just for fun informational stuff, google them.

@jochser: I have your solution for the "p+space+colon" problem. Get Microsoft's Keyboard Layout Creator and replace the "p" (in a custom alphabet) with the "þ" (the same way I typed "ƒuck" on AG to avoid the bots)

I prefer normal p's, though :-/

Bastard site doesn't appear to give you the option to disable smileys anywhere, either...

No matter, I'll just go back to putting a space in between the colon and the p again :*****p
