I have to agree with els on the "sell you as much stuff as possible with "your" crest on it ...
The site he linked to had a different crest for me, and I kind of remember getting a personalized catalog for the "wolf" family (and a personalized credit card offer) with a different version ... Black shield with a gold chevron with three green balls on it or something similar.
