What's changed? Pilgram's Pride in Franconia PA was selling meats to fast food companies that (and it took something like years to expose what meat inspectors knew) were spreading Listeria. I specifically remember the Pilgram's Pride truck, at local Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken, unloading meat. This after the Franconia plant was shut down. That truck had all Pilgram Pride decals removed. But the glue still remained - the Pilgram Pride logo still obvious.

Well, Pilgram Pride is finally having some financial problems. Those Franconia workers losing their jobs because of bad management who for years were distributing food in flagrant violation of basic health standards.

Federal inspectors literally describing how chicken would fall to the floor. Employees then return that dirty chicken right back on the conveyor belt. The inspector writes a citation. By the time those who are politically correct finished negotiations, nothing happened.

People had to die before inspectors were finally heard. And, as usual, because the problem was not fixed immediately, then people who suffer most are the employees. BTW, no one from Pilgram Pride management went to jail. Those people died only due to an accident.

Why should any pet foods be any better? Pet foods don't even have inspectors.

Do we get the name of the company who knowingly distributed killer pet food? Not just the brand name. Who is the top company who owns the company who buys from their subsidary company who makes the food. And who are the top executives - by name? Why not?
