I like hot artichoke dip with slices of mini-baguette.

Bake some brie in filo dough.

Mixed nuts in a bowl are always nice.

scallops wrapped in bacon w/ toothpick. broiled.

potstickers

fried mozzarella sticks w/ tomato sauce

shrimp cocktail

ranch pita bread (take a pita bread, spread butter on it, and sprinkle ranch dressing powder all over it. slice into small wedges and broil til golden brown.)

Take a nice hearty loaf of bread, tear the middle out of it to make a bowl, fill the bowl with dip, and leave the torn out bread on the side for dipping. Rip another loaf of the same bread into little pieces for dipping. Then you will have enough bread.

these sound gross, but they are great. I don't know what they are called. Some kind of meat ball. Take one part sausage, one part grated cheddar cheese, and one part bisquick. Knead them together. Make small balls. Bake. Delicious. The recipe is probably on the box of bisquick.
