That was the first suicide I witnessed. We had to watch the tape in media ethics class and debate what bits could be shown and why. I can recall every instant of it. On that note.....

I saw it on live TV.

We have a copy of the full press conference at work. Most of the versions on the internet are shortened to just a few seconds before and after the shot.

I've been trying to work out who you are referring to but failed. Can someone post a name for me so at least I can Google it myself? I'm assuming you're referring to the black & white picture of the man with the gun?
