I have heard that Los Angles will do with a Grand Jury what Philadelphia has already accomplished - use Church's own records to demonstrate widespread pedophilia in the Church, and Church management that conspired to hide and suppress it. The victims be damned. The problem be ignored. Morality defined by the powers that be because society cannot be trusted to make such decisions. That is akin to communism in its worst form.

Begs the question - what is the purpose of the Church? To provide a service to its parishioners? Or to enrich and protect itself? Ironically god becomes an excuse to justify the coverup rather than a reason to condemn it. Same twisted logic that also blames pedophilia on homosexuality. But then this is what happens when organized religion decides to impose its standards - by people who don't live in the real world - to save us all from ourselves - rather than just serve its parishioners.

Oh I'm sure they'll come up with something.

Spanking is like duct tape though. It has a proper application, but most of the time it's just an ugly all-purpose quick-fix, used until a real solution can be managed. Take good care of your stuff in the first place and you won't need so much duct tape.

Speaking of duct tape. I went to my doctor last week to have him look at a problem I was having with pain in my foot. The doctor takes a look and says I have a plantar's wart. You know the prescription? (Aw you guessed already.)

Put a piece of duct tape on it. Change it once a week.
