I'm one of those others with Crohn's disease. I feel your pain -- really.
I didn't see that you said what they're going to do during surgery. I presume that it's to cut out the abcess? I hope that's gone well for you. Crohn's disease seems to be different in every person, but PM me, if you like, and I'll give you my thoughts on it. I've had it for 30 years now, so I've learned to deal with it.
