Chechnya is a nationalist conflict that became a flashpoint for islamic fundamentalism, war breeds war. The current crop is Islamic militants were mostly trained during the afghan conflict, their side being heavily propped up by the US. The enxt generation are being trained in Iraq and once again, Afghanistan.

Haven't seen many warzones in the bible belt recently.
