I install my window air conditioners with a five degree down angle so as to drain the condensate and rain. Most of them already have that angle built in from the top and bottom rails being positioned in the proper place.

Uh, this IS a window unit, correct? If it's a wall unit, then you have to do your own levelling prior to installation, but five degrees is still a good starting point. If it doesn't drain easily, add to the angle until it does.
