If this thing breaks even I'll be more than a little surprised. If they were THAT enlightened they'd just give the money and milk it for publicity instead of insuring an overall gain of near zero.

I didn't realize they were trying to make money. I thought the plan was to make people aware so they would pressure the G-8 people to forgive the African debt.
How are they going to make money? TV rights and album sales?
In the deal between Philly and Electric Factory Promotions the city says they hope to break even but I'm sure EFP is doing better....they always do.
