Hell, no, I'm not putting myself on starvation rations (and that's what this is, not eating "conservatively"). It's long been noticed that people who live on the edge of starvation take longer to die of old age. But who wants to live to 110 (more realistically) starving all the time when you can live into your 80s and eat more normally?
