I think you're all forgetting that the goldwing started as a sport bike. go back and look at some of the late 70's vintage models without all of the tour trim. I think the look is very cool, kind of a boxy, strap a fender strat on the back and ride to a gig sort of look.
If I lived anywhere but LA, where drivers regularly swerve to hit bikers on purpose, I would own one.
