Springtime's come and Beltane's struck
Yippee, Pagans, time to fuck! Yay! Beltane is in a three-way tie as our coven's favorite (read: best attended) Sabbat. We are expecting 70 people today in the park on a very cool, very windy (but very sunny) day here in the heartland. Better than last year, when it was overcast, cool and windy, and we ended up the day with sleet. Better than two years ago when it was muggy and warm, and we ended up the day with an unprecedented number of tornadoes here in the KC area. We are doing a handfasting, a dedication and two baby blessings today, plus the ever popular Maypole (we have a "portable" Maypole, all 9' of it, with 60 ribbons). Burgers and weenies afterward...
