I think the transformation is the whole point. In the end (sorry, spoilers)
(spoilers begin here) In the end he realizes that the girl isn't actually the sexual object that began his transformation. That marks the end of the transformation. He has found beauty, he has figured it out, and finally -- finally -- everything is alright. |
