Good question. Here in La, a residence within the 1000' 'firearm free zone' is exempt from that nonsense, but it would be interesting to see if the house were to be declared a school, and thus an FFZ.

Cop fired for bad behavior? Now that's a newsworthy miracle.

In most similar cases, the mother would have a felony conviction by now.
