I doubt that. If he'd admitted pedophilia and sought treatment, some parents of children he'd been alone with would have started the process even earlier, whether he'd acted on it or not. Pedophilia isn't like drugs in that way.

Just because he sought treatment does not necessarily mean it becomes public knowledge. But then the number of potential suitors would have been significantly reduced had he obtained treatment early on. Currently, if he does seek treatment - and he will have to anyway - then the whole world will surely know. No plaintiff will have to prove that point making him vunerable in civil court. Having not dealt with the problem, he is now in big time trouble. If the settlement for only one kid was only estminated at $25million - times how many kids all of whom now will be able to easily prove that they too were molested. I cannot think how this could be any worse for Jackson - because of denial for too long.

I am told that this is also having adverse affects on the rest of his family. So yes, how much worse could it get only because they all remained in denial for so long.

BTW, I do expect bankruptcy to be part of Jackson's future. His expenses were reported to be $1million per month. This accusation and trial will not cause any record sales increases nor permit a new album release. So where does that income come from? I see nothing but BAD (and not the album) for Jackson from this trial; even if they don't declare him guilty.
