Yes, it's funny.
1-Because someone considers that art, but I guess that's subjective.
2-It's true, that is not a drill. It's a drill motor which is one of the many ways to turn a drill.
3-It's a clever word play, using a phrase that is usually used in serious scenarios, in a whimsical piece.
4-Because I'm as twisted as you are, without being beat up by hurricanes.

Actually, it was a play off Magritte's "This is not a Pipe" piece, but, eh...

Clodfobble should be ashamed for getting it. Heh.

I hate the "This is not a Pipe" piece, as in a class we were expected to have a lengthy discussion on the implications and importance of the revolutionary painting. A debate errupted for an hour on whether or not it was a pipe, perception of the piece, the contradiction, etc. Ugh.
