Popping my 100-yard cherry

All this gun talk made my trigger finger itchy, and when plt's roommate came over today and said let's hit the range, I was only too happy to oblige.

We did the S&W 9mm pistol first, not bad. Then I took the Mini-14 to the 50 yd range. Shooting with only the stock peep sights, I've put less than 400 rounds through this rifle at this distance with OK results, and today was no different.

Bryan said let's hit the 100. I have never shot there before but what the hell. I loaded up the box with 24 rounds and had at it. I don't think this is so much a function of my own accuracy as that of this marvelous weapon. Anyway I think I'm finding my range:

You could save money by making the targets last longer. All you have to do is put all the bullets through the same hole.
Good job, NBN.
