I was trying fpr years to remember the name of a short story that I had only the sketchiest details about. I did know the name of the magazine it was published in but not the year or month.
I wrote the the NY Public Library research department on a Friday and on Monday I had the answer from them with a pdf of the story. Librarians fucking rule.
