Why do this? To drink for free winning bar bets.
It can be done with a boiled bagel just a lot more difficult.

To hell with that! I'd have to actually GO to a bar for that to work, and the nearest bar is about 10 miles away. Plus, WA state booze is taxed at 20.5% (++), the highest in the nation.

Guess Which State Has the Highest Liquor Taxes in the Nation?

I'm fine drinking (booze bought in Oregon) at home, thankyouverymuch.

But Gravdigr asked the same question, and has been know to visit a bar on special occasions.
