These are the good old days, my friends.

So I'm a trademark legal assistant these days, and I couldn't help but notice the little trademark symbol next to the Brass Knuckles logo.

So I went to the good old USPTO database (TESS) and looked it up. I was wondering what the federal red tape would call this item. You have to tell the government what the trademark is going to be used for, and in return nobody else can sell that item using your name.

Turns out this is:
"Vaporizers for medical purposes; atomizers sold empty for medical use; vapor cartridges sold empty for medical use [and also] Glass jars [and] Batteries"

So it's medicinal. And this company has filed a handful of trademarks for these vaporizers and also for clothing. Things are taking off for them.

But there is no reference to cannabis oil anywhere. I guess you can't get trademark protection on that yet.
