LPCs (Leather Personnel Carriers), those boots were made for walkin'.
I've had to do a timed and monitored continuous 20 mi., with a 65 lb. pack, in 4 hrs. through the Virginia foothills. You should be able to do 30 mi. with just a water bottle and still make the drive home by lunchtime. Of course, I'm older now; so, in your situation I'd just take a cab. |
