He had a sugar mamma supporting him;

but,

she bailed on him;

so,

he reconnected with you

and

he has a pay-per-use phone;

but,

could no longer afford your calls;

until,

he found another sugar mama;

however,

it's too early to count his chickens;

so,

he's keeping a hen in the coop.

OR

He's very busy, working his fingers to the bone, pinching pennies until he's in a position to make you a proposal you can't refuse.
